The Croat/Mostar distinction is important because Bosnia-Herzegovina has three independent postal services each of whom issues stamps.

I'm not sure what this stamp has to do with AIDS. It was originally classified as an AIDS stamp by Blair Henshaw and included on his list. Since then it has been picked up by a few other lists (including this one). But there is no obvious connection to AIDS. I'm sure the institute have studied it, and maybe even have a center for the study of AIDS. But the stamp isn't about the center, it's about the whole institute. So unless there's a more concrete connection (such as identifying one of the viruses on the stamp as being the AIDS virus) I may remove this in the future.

These are obligatory postal tax stamps that were used from June 1 to July 30. The total print run was 3,500,000 stamps. Although Serbia was part of the Federal Republic of Yugoslovia in 2000, it was semi-autonomous and released a number of its own stamps.
